Eye 4n Eye

Its been a busy couple weeks. I really haven't had much time to keep abreast of current events and I don't seem to be worse for it. I have been visiting blog commentaries regarding the Gaza strip invasion? offensive? shock and awe? whadda ya call it?

Nevertheless, Bush's war machine seems to have left some residuals on how to murder what... rebels? insurgents? Hamas? and their families and communities. Israel seems to have learned the lesson well. Not to over-simplify but, notwithstanding the decades of rhetoric, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to conclude that war profiteers are the biggest promoters behind the Zion and Arab weaponry, followed closely by the absurdity of political interests. WTF, how can we forget the politics behind the Iran-Contra Affair when US squirreled deals to Israel to provide arms for Iranian ...what? insurgents? terrorists? rebels? that opposed the Ayatollah, until, the US had to authorize payment directly to the Ayatollah... what? terrorists? insurgent? rebels? in order to get back hostages taken when, as some believe, sources discovered the black ops treachery between Zion-American actions.

Speaking of rhetoric, who stands to gain from the warring factions in Afghanistan (not to over simplify, do you remember when the Taliban were called the Mujaheddin* when Russia was the invader?? *translated: holy warriors*)...The nano-thought that comes to mind is "who is our Charlie Wilson now, eh? *for those who dont remember the movie from 2007 "Charlie Wilson's War" please link to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Wilson_(politician)

The historical string attached to these conflicts are far to complicated and political to rip down to the core basis for the conflicts but I don't buy any of the rhetorical bullshit. New age media has become so twisted and the absurdity of such a debate, be it Gaza, Afghanistan, Iraq, et al, is that all sides are continuing to fight for their own interests amid such a major violation of human rights. Read this quote labelled "Killing remarks" in the media regarding the bombing of Gaza:

'The Zionists have legitimized the killing of their children by killing our children. They have legitimized the killing of their people all over the world by killing our people.'
Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar

Take a moment to think about this statement coming from one leader who happens to be Hamas. To marginalize the killing of your own children, to justify murdering someone elses children is insane.

The only fact you can take to the bank, in my opinion, is that the loopholes that revealed the true core of these treacherous motives are better hidden today. Peel off the labels like freedom fighters, insurgents, terrorists, rebels, invaders, murderers, etc and, OMG, we are a vicious lot. Be it Twin Towers, Baghdad, Rwanda, Darfur, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Zimbabwe, East Timor, Holocaust, Gaza, the human race, it appears, is a genocidal, short memoryed creature. The adage "history repeats itself" is gospel.

Be it, religion, freedom, independence or just plain old greed and power we cant seem to relieve ourselves of the inherent power mad ruling class zealots that inevitably lead our sons and daughters to die on some trumped up battlefield.

Perhaps the "eye for an eye" principle (*I4I* texting) is the only pure neo-socio-class action that could relegate the planet to a social conscience that would bring common human rights on a truly global scale. Just imagine, applying the I4I actions to the swindling global CEOs that have destroyed the dreams (many, as yet unrealized) of hard working folks, rich and poor alike. But then again, that form of justice got the Taliban in disfavour. Not to over simplify. Peace out
