Knock Knock....Its Donald! Donald who? Donald sound the trumpets when the indictments start.

I was emailed a good question today by my Canadian cousin. What are they all saying about this Trump stuff in New England?

It took me a few minutes to respond...I started by recalling that I told a friend that one of those Nazis posters images had been outed as a guy from Boston. My friend said theres lots here. Nobody says shit publicly here outside of the odd bumper-sticker (Obama's still far outnumber the Trumps *wink wink*)....but its so divisive. The Dems are tagged as bleeding heart, sell the farm, snowflake liberals and the GOP are tagged as Nazi knuckle dragging, brain-dead, numb-skulls. It is so divisive with the Obama haters and the Trump haters you could cut the tension with a knife. Hillary wasn't even the core wedge....its was black vs white. This society has never gotten over its slavery differences and its worse because the communities are so fukking different its like being in two different worlds from a white neighborhood or a black neighborhood. The ethnic neighborhood dialects are barely comparable ....which is unfathomable when you try to peel through the normal Boston drawl. Even the activists wrestle with the racial assimilation. They want everybody to have equal rights but I bet a buck they would prefer their kids to stay out of any inter-racial schools regardless of race. 

I think the best example of American political values is this CEO Corporate advisory council. They all stayed the course (I could hardly believe they accepted the invite) even when the shit was spraying all over the newsroom walls (EXCEPT for the Tesla guy leaving over the Paris accord) until the Nazi and white supremacists veins started to show in Trump biologics. I have said repeatedly, that Trumps spots were clearly visible when NYC sued him for human rights violations some 20 years ago on his rental properties.....who the fukk did not know he absolutely hates anybody that is black. So it only stands to reason the last standing at the Trump coral will be the Nazis/White Supremacists/Alt-Rite. 

During the election campaigns the public just ignored cold hard facts and went with the trends that were popping up during the campaign (Thank you Russia).... and thats American politics. Let me make it perfectly clear I never thought the election would turn out like it did but I never thought the urban voters would sit it out. The lobbyists are the legs on the dog and the voters are just the fukking tail. 

 So having said that it seems apparent why nobody discusses politics here unless you relish guilt by association and the consequences of being that knuckle dragging GOP i mentioned earlier. It reminds me of Bush. You couldn't find anybody who voted for Bush after the WMD scandal....it is just happening quicker here. The real entertaining cloud is going to light up this sky when Mueller finishes his investigation... in my opinion. This other shit is just media fodder believe it or not....All this Nuke NK and Nazis are fodder. Ha Ha  but that will be judge and jury bones to chew on.

Driving down the road to Kingsville the other day, my beloved Val seemed quite unsettled about the fact that we were, soon, passing by her 40th birthday and zooming in on Xmas and there was no snow to be seen anywhere in our neighbourhood. Now, that really is not all that unusual in our neck of the woods, but she seemed right agitated. I just cannot imagine Canadian politics ever getting as entertaining, nor as ugly, as US governance. Have you caught any of these town hall meetings on health care? I would have never believed people would get so covertly hoodwinked in believing free medical services sponsored by democratic administrations are an infringement of liberty and freedom. The hostility reminds me of my experiences in Union halls filled with angry workers at negotiation time, revving up their emotions to strike an employer, who has been brutally denigrating their work lives and workplaces.......when its for free health care, in terms of the benefits for all Americans in renewing the value of all the money that is appropriated within the insurance industries interests. I heard an sample of an media clip on a US radio, with a supposedly Canadian terminally ill patient pleading she had to wait 6 months for ANY MEDICAL ATTENTION. Killer food at Big Boys on I-75 in Monroe County

How have you been? The week went fast for me since my last post. The week was filled with visiting with my buddy from Vancouver, as I reported in my last post, after he dried out. We did some touring so Gerry could get an idea about the county of Essex and we spent one day in Windsor and stopped by the Thunder Road Harley Davidson dealer and the Caesar's Casino for a spell. With my beloved Val's help, I walked away with a $2.40 (she doubled my $1.20 jackpot..LOL) windfall from the penny machines. I had wished for a week of good weather to compensate for the wash-out our guest had been welcomed with on his ride through Detroit, and my wishes were answered for the most part.
